This is a really exciting first for me: one of my poems is in a cookbook! I am so happy and grateful to have my sonnet, “Tea,” in Nicole Gulotta’s new cookbook, Eat this Poem, which is out today from Roost Books. “Tea” appears in my fourth collection, Red Army Red, but I am so pleased to see the poem in a new setting, among recipes for almond poppy seed scones (yes, please) and kale caesar salads (yum) and cauliflower soup with beluga lentils (double yum). You can read more about this fantastic cookbook at Nicole’s gorgeous blog, where today she has written a really lovely and tasty piece about how “Tea” ended up in Eat this Poem.
