New Poem in Moment Magazine!

| The Naturalist

Back in October, my husband and I bought the house next door to my parents. It was a move that made a lot of sense, personally, financially. But, like any move, it was stressful and caused a lot of upheaval. I knew, however, that we had made the right decision about four weeks after we moved into the new home, when I was able to write my first poem there.

Shortly after that, “Augury” was accepted for publication. I’m absolutely thrilled that the poem appear in Moment Magazine. As a Jew, I’m always grateful and proud when my work appears in a Jewish publication. “Augury” is part of my current manuscript-in-progress, The Naturalist, which explores the relationship between the health of the body and the health of the body politic. You can read the poem here.
