Poem Up at American Life in Poetry!

| Dots & Dashes

There are certain poetry sites that I visit every week, places like Poetry Daily, Verse Dailyand Ted Kooser’s American Life in Poetry. I love reading what’s happening right now in poetry, what’s catching editors’ attentions. So, I’m thrilled to have “From the Pentagon”–one of many sonnets in Dots & Dashes–featured as this week’s syndicated column for American Life in Poetry. It’s always tremendously exciting to have a poem appear in American Life in Poetry (you can read previous columns featuring my poems here and here), because there’s nothing better than knowing that one’s poems are being printed in newspapers across the country, perhaps read at breakfast tables, consumed along with the morning coffee and pancakes.
